Education Support Programme Advisory Meeting 2017
The Advisory Committee meeting of Prime Bank Foundation was held on 2nd August, 2017 Wednesday, at 3:30pm in the Board Room of the Bank at Gulshan. The Advisory Committee meeting was held in order to finalise the preliminary list of Education Scholarship Programme(ESP). The preliminary list of Scholarship Programme is finalised by the Chairperson, Members and Member-Secretary of the Advisory Committee.
The Advisory Committee consists of four distinguished personalities of Bangladesh, namely Prof. M. Q. K. Talukder, Chairman, Centre for Women and Child Health and Chairperson, Bangladesh Breast Feeding Foundation (Chairperson of the Advisory Committee), Prof. Jamilur Reza Choudhury, Educationalist, Vice Chancellor of Asia Pacific University, Former Vice Chancellor of BRAC University & Professor of BUET (Member of the Advisory Committee), Father Benjamin Costa, Educationalist & Vice Chancellor of Notre Dame University (Member of the Advisory Committee) and Dr. Iqbal Anwar, CEO of Prime Bank Foundation (Member-Secretary of the Advisory Committee).

Award Giving Ceremony – 2016

The Award Giving Ceremony of Prime Bank Foundation was held on 12th November, 2016 at International Convention City Bashundhara (iccb), Dhaka. During the ceremony a total of 344 poor but meritorious students received stipends through its Education Support Programme. Honourable Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid, M.P was present as Chief Guest while Fazle Kabir, Governor of Bangladesh Bank, was present as a special guest. During the ceremony, the stipends were transferred to students account through automation process. In total 344 students will receive the long term and renewable stipends @ Tk. 2,400/- per month which will continue till the end of their studies. Students from all 64 districts of the country who are pursuing their graduation level studies are availing the benefit from this stipend.

The “Education Support Program” of the Foundation awarded a total of 2,789 students in 10 years including 170 students in 2007, 122 in 2008, 198 in 2009, 196 in 2010, 205 in 2011, 386 in 2012, 394 in 2013, 402 in 2014, 372 in 2015 and 344 students this year.
